As Deputy Digital Director, I was tasked with managing the IG account (KamalaforMi) as well as capture digital content (video and photo) including recording direct to camera videos of surrogates and individuals at events around the state, and general event videos. I created the graphics for our IG and X/Twitter posts as well as flyers, mobilize graphics and other graphics as needed. I edited videos that were posted on our profiles as well as some used for the national Harris/Walz campaign. My posts had the highest engagement of the campaign in Michigan and our follower count nearly doubled in the first two and a half weeks after I took control of the Instagram account.
